Cyrusher Manufacturer Guide

What should you know before choosing a Cyrusher e-bike?

Cyrusher’s selected models span step-through city bikes, full-suspension fat-tire bikes, and a mid-drive option. Before choosing, establish fit, complete handling weight, service requirements, and written purchase terms. The website’s warranty and return documents contain conflicting provisions that should not be silently reconciled in the company’s favor.

The useful question is not whether the brand makes a powerful bike.

It is whether the exact configuration and support process work for you.

I haven’t personally tested these models. Manufacturer descriptions remain attributed claims.

Which Cyrusher models are included?

The selected coverage includes nine subjects. Eight supplied pages were retrieved during the source review; the Luxe page could not be retrieved. Luxe remains on the checklist, but no specification sheet will be reconstructed from unrelated models or an unverified substitute.

The directory does not establish that every model has the same geometry, suspension, battery, or ownership requirements.

How should you choose among similar-looking models?

Start with the ride and ownership constraints, then compare the exact geometry and equipment. Similar frame descriptions do not establish identical fit. A full-suspension designation also does not explain the maintenance, adjustability, or comfort you will experience.

For each shortlisted model, obtain:

  • Frame and geometry information.
  • Configuration-specific weight.
  • Battery-removal details.
  • Approved payload interpretation.
  • Assembly instructions.
  • Suspension service requirements, where applicable.
  • Compatible replacement battery information.

The Buyer Guide provides the common decision path. The individual review should explain what changes for that model.

What does Cyrusher’s warranty cover?

The dedicated warranty page lists two years for the motor, controller, and frame, and one year for the battery and several other components. It limits replacement to one occurrence per part per bike. However, other text on the site conflicts with parts of that description.

ComponentDedicated warranty pageTerms of Use
FrameTwo yearsTwo years
MotorTwo yearsOne year
ControllerTwo yearsOne year
Front forkOne yearIncluded in a two-year component list
BatteryOne yearOne year

Both pages also contain language saying valid claims will be processed within one year, despite their two-year component provisions.

The dedicated warranty page identifies its last update as February 2023; the Terms of Use identify February 2020. Retrieval today does not make either document newly written.

Ask which terms govern the exact purchase.

Does the warranty cover a second owner?

The published warranty says no. It limits coverage to the original owner and purchases through Cyrusher or authorized channels. That matters when evaluating a used bike: remaining calendar time does not establish transferable coverage.

Ask separately whether paid support, diagnostics, and replacement parts remain available.

Those services are different from warranty entitlement.

What work might a warranty claim require?

Cyrusher describes a support-ticket process requiring the order number, photos or video, and potentially diagnostic tests. It may require return of a faulty component before sending the replacement. You should establish whether that process is practical for you before buying.

The policy gives battery testing with a voltmeter as an example.

That is a description of the company’s process—not an instruction from PNWeBike to perform electrical testing.

If you cannot safely complete a requested task, ask for an approved alternative or qualified service arrangement.

Will Cyrusher pay a local mechanic?

Possibly, with advance authorization. The warranty says Cyrusher may authorize reimbursement of up to \$200 for local repairs when its mechanics determine that appropriate. It also says unauthorized repairs and alterations are not covered. Do not assume that any shop invoice will be reimbursed.

Get written agreement covering:

  • The proposed diagnosis.
  • The approved work.
  • The labor allowance.
  • Required documentation.
  • Any component return.
  • Who pays before reimbursement.

The shipping provisions also vary within the policy, including customer-prepaid language and prepaid labels for authorized exchanges. Confirm the arrangement for the actual claim.

Is the 30-day return policy straightforward?

No. The dedicated return page allows requests within 30 days, requires fewer than ten miles and no signs of use, and lists two-way shipping charges plus a 10% order deduction. It also says warranty issues must be resolved before processing a return.

The Terms of Use instead require a sealed, unopened box and describe a restocking deduction of up to 25%.

QuestionConflict to resolve
Can the box be opened?Dedicated return page versus sealed-box requirement
Can the bike be ridden?Under-ten-mile provision versus no-use wording
What deduction applies?10% versus up to 25%
Is a discounted bike eligible?Sale items are listed as non-returnable
What does “registered” mean?Registered bikes are described as ineligible, without a clear explanation

Do not interpret “prepaid return label” as free shipping. The dedicated policy expressly says shipping costs are deducted from the refund.

What should you do about delivery damage?

Inspect and document the delivery immediately, then use the official support process. Cyrusher’s documents give inconsistent reporting periods: the warranty page specifies a 14-day cutoff, while other passages emphasize three days or use different deadlines. Do not choose the longest period and wait.

Keep packaging and written communications.

Cyrusher’s warranty page also strongly recommends examination and testing by a qualified bicycle mechanic before the first ride and says it does not guarantee every component arrives secured and adjusted. Include that inspection in the purchase plan.

What can the available evidence establish about performance?

Not a universal range or hill result.

Cyrusher’s warranty disclaimer explicitly describes listed speeds and ranges as estimates affected by assistance, load, terrain, temperature, tire pressure, and other conditions. The individual model review must identify relevant testing rather than convert the company’s maximum figure into an expected result.

This source review also does not establish a brand-wide reliability pattern.

Owner reports and independent tests remain model-specific research tasks.

PNW reality check

Rain

The warranty excludes water damage. A product’s weather-resistance claim should not be rewritten as a promise of warranty coverage for every wet-weather failure.

Hills

Match performance evidence to the exact model, load, and route conditions.

Storage

A step-through opening does not establish storage dimensions or manageable transport weight.

Service

Consider suspension work, electrical diagnosis, and the manufacturer’s authorization process separately.

Frequently asked questions

Is every component covered for two years?

No. Even the dedicated warranty page assigns one year to the battery and many other parts. Conflicts with the Terms of Use require clarification.

Is the return label free?

A prepaid label does not necessarily mean the customer pays nothing. The return policy says two-way shipping is deducted from the refund.

Can you arrange a repair and claim it afterward?

Do not assume so. Cyrusher requires prior agreement for third-party service reimbursement.

Does a replacement part receive unlimited future replacements?

The policy states a one-time replacement limit per part per bike. Ask how that applies if a supplied replacement is itself defective.

What should you obtain before ordering?

The exact configuration, complete weight, approved assembly and service plan, and written clarification of the warranty and return provisions that affect your purchase.

This is the research I found. It's your decision.
